CNC Machinist – 2nd shift

  • Operating several CNC machines, loading bars of material, monitoring operation & taking measurements, while making quality parts, safely as part of a team.
  • Maintaining quality assurance procedures and processes, performing quality audits
  • Maintaining product specifications by observing machining operations, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls, replacing worn tools
  • Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and housekeeping
  • Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, and troubleshooting malfunctions

 

Job requirements:

  • Minimum of two years in manufacturing setting, ideally 2+ years in CNC machining
  • Familiarity with blue prints a plus
  • Basic math skills, including decimals and ability to convert between inches and metric measurements. Algebra and geometry a plus!
  • Knowledge of metals and materials, including but not limited to steel, stainless steel, and copper, and their machine-ability and ability to use measuring equipment (micrometers, Dial or Digital Calipers, Optical comparator) a plus!
  • Demonstrated initiative and improvement mindset a must. Familiarity with quality concepts, such as in-process auditing and lean manufacturing a plus
  • Proven track record of reliability, dependability, maturity, attention to detail, and ability to learn is key as we will be providing comprehensive training on CNC machining.

Maintenance Technician – 1st shift

Responsibilities will include:

  • Repair, maintain, setup and troubleshoot machinery
  • Light carpentry and basic repair and maintenance of steam piping and heating system
  • Changing of light fixtures, installing compressed air drops and other layout related projects
  • Participation in snow removal and light groundskeeping occasionally
  • Participate in loss control committee (safety), ISO internal audits and related improvement work
  • Conduct facilities improvements, maintenance and repairs with input from management

Job requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in building & facilities maintenance, manufacturing maintenance or related role
  • Demonstrated progression of responsibility and/or leadership
  • Ability to lift 20-30 pounds regularly, and occasionally lift 50 pounds, and stand for up to 9 hours per
  • Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge
  • Computer skills to include email, Microsoft Excel, Word, and general proficiency
  • Ability to use measuring equipment, such as verniers, calipers, and micrometers
  • Familiarity with ISO and internal auditing a plus
  • Experience with safety or loss control committee a plus

  • The ability to accept direction on priorities and work independently to complete
  • Effectively communicate positively, work well with others, and be solutions oriented including providing project updates to management
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Identify opportunities for improvement
  • Associates or related degree a plus
