The W.H. Bagshaw Company believes in the strength and importance of community. To this end, we are an active member of our community, supporting various groups and activities.
WH Bagshaw/Galaxy Sports Racing Cycling Team
This New England cycling team is a collection of top amateur athletes pursuing cycling careers. We help provide the support these cyclists need while training and racing throughout the United States.
Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua
The W.H. Bagshaw Company has proudly supported the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua BGCN for many years. The Club was founded in 1966 by a group of community leaders and first opened its doors in 1971 under the leadership of Executive Director Dominick J. Giovinazzo. Since then, the Club has served the youth of our community, providing a safe haven and a place to work, play, learn and grow into responsible adults. The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua provides recreation, companionship and more – a whole world of games and activities geared to help kids grow into caring and responsible adults. Every day for over 36 years the Club has held its doors open to everyone – regardless of race, creed or socio-economic status.
Project Lead the Way
The Bagshaw Company has more recently gotten involved with this exciting organization. They create dynamic partnerships with our nation’s schools to prepare an increasing and more diverse group of students to be successful in science, engineering, and engineering technology.
Goals include:
- Increase the number of young people who pursue engineering and engineering technology programs requiring a four or two – year college degree.
- Provide equitable and inclusive opportunities for all academically qualified students without regard to gender or ethnic origin.
- Provide clear standards and expectations for student success in the program.
- Reduce the future college attrition rate with four and two-year engineering and engineering technology programs.
- Provide leadership and support that will produce continuous improvement and innovation in the program.
- Contribute to the continuance of America’s national prosperity.
