W.H. Bagshaw, the oldest pin manufacturer in US, expands offerings

Nashua, N.H. – W.H. Bagshaw, the nation’s oldest pin manufacturer now offers the most extensive line of fasteners and pins available in the marketplace. W.H. Bagshaw, a fifth generation family-owned company, offers fasteners, pins, contacts, needles and wire products to solve any application need.

Aaron Bagshaw, president of W.H. Bagshaw says “if you are going to stay in business for over one hundred and thirty years, you can’t be static, you have to grow with client demands.” And Bagshaw certainly knows a thing or two about longevity-the company was founded in 1870.

Recently, W.H. Bagshaw announced the expansion of their fastener line to include, carbon steel fasteners, chrome alloy and tool steel, 300 & 400 series stainless, monel and brass fasteners, aluminum fasteners, beryulium copper fasteners, teflon and delrin fasteners, metric fasteners, stainless steel fasteners, marine fasteners, construction fasteners, as well as specialty fasteners for any application.

The quality of workmanship and tight tolerances that have made W.H. Bagshaw an industry leader remain; with capabilities of diameter ranges between .011” - .375” and diameter tolerances +/- .001”. W.H. Bagshaw works with a wide variety of material including; a luminum, beryulium, brass, chrome alloy steel, copper, delrin, high carbon steel, low carbon steel, monel, stainless steel, super carbon steel, tool steel, and Teflon.

Bagshaw says there’s no time to rest on your laurels in this business, “manufacturers have entered the global marketplace, if you don’t have what the client is looking for, some other company out there does, this kind of competition pushes a company to be its very best,” and Bagshaw assures, “we intend on being an industry leader for the next one hundred and thirty years!”

W.H. Bagshaw Company Updates Operational Facilities.

In 2005 The W.H. Bagshaw Company updated the physical plant. New siding and windows were installed at its historic location in the Nashua Millyard. Some of the siding and windows dated back to the original building of the structure in 1899.

This face lift was sorely needed and the new double hung insulated windows have already showed their added value by reducing energy costs. The construction was done as close as possible to historical records in order to preserve the historic look of our protected Millyard.

This update makes the building more attractive to potential rental clients needingstorage or light industrial uses. This is all part of the continual improvement program taken by the W.H. Bagshaw Company.
